As a tutor, my approach is rooted in clarity, patience, and student empowerment. I focus on helping my students truly understand the subject matter, guiding them through concepts step by step and encouraging them to apply their knowledge independently. This balance of support and self-practice builds confidence and long-term academic growth. I particularly enjoy teaching maths and chemistry because they combine logic with creativity-subjects that, once understood, unlock a powerful sense of achievement in students.

What I value most in tutoring is the moment a student realises they can do it on their own. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging space where they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. My strengths lie in building trust, maintaining consistency, and adapting to each student's unique needs and pace.

I've had the opportunity to work with students with autism, particularly in phonics, and this experience has strengthened my commitment to being inclusive and patient. While my direct SEN experience is limited, I am eager to expand my knowledge and adapt my teaching to ensure all students can thrive. My goal is to be a tutor who listens, guides, and motivates—helping students not only improve academically but also to grow in confidence and independence.
