I am a dedicated and adaptable tutor with over three years of experience supporting students across a range of subjects, including GCSEs, A-levels, and IGCSEs. I am currently studying BA History and Politics of the Americas at UCL, and I bring both academic expertise and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. My teaching style is centred on patience, encouragement, and clarity. I aim to break down complex ideas into manageable steps, using creative explanations and exam-focused strategies to make learning more engaging and accessible.

One of the aspects I enjoy most about tutoring is watching students grow in confidence. Many of my students come to me feeling unsure or anxious about a subject, but with the right guidance and support, they begin to see progress, and that sense of achievement motivates them even further. I believe learning should be collaborative, so I always encourage questions and adapt my approach to match the student’s pace and preferred learning style.

I have worked with a wide variety of learners, including those with special educational needs such as autism and dyslexia. This experience has taught me how to be flexible and creative in my methods, whether that means incorporating visual aids, structuring lessons into shorter focus blocks, or providing additional practice materials. My goal is always to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, as this is often when the most meaningful learning happens.

Beyond academic progress, I want my students to leave sessions feeling motivated, capable, and more confident in their abilities. I see tutoring as not just about passing exams, but also about equipping students with the skills and resilience to approach future challenges with confidence.
