My teaching style is calm, patient, and supportive. I believe that creating a relaxed and friendly learning environment is key to helping students feel confident and open to asking questions. Many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they feel overwhelmed or unsure of how to approach a topic. That’s why I take the time to break down each concept into simple, manageable steps, making sure students truly understand the foundations before moving forward.

Each tutoring session is tailored to the individual student’s needs and learning style. Some students are visual learners, others benefit from practical examples, and some need to talk through their thinking to really grasp the topic. I adapt my approach accordingly and aim to make every session engaging, interactive, and enjoyable. I also like to link what we’re learning to real-life situations where possible, especially in maths and science, so students can see the value and relevance of what they’re studying.

What I enjoy most about teaching maths and science is seeing the moment a concept finally clicks for a student — when something they’ve been struggling with suddenly becomes clear. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey and to support students as they grow in both their understanding and their confidence.

I’m a naturally approachable and encouraging person, and I think that helps me connect well with students of all ages. I’m always patient and willing to explain things in different ways until it clicks. My goal is to help every student feel capable, motivated, and supported throughout their learning journey.
