Hannah Bilal

With over a decade of experience in education, I bring a patient, empathetic, and highly personalised approach to tutoring. My academic background includes 11 A*s at GCSE, AAAA at A-Level in biology, chemistry, maths, and EPQ, and three years of medical study at the University of Leicester, followed by time at King’s College London. These experiences have not only deepened my subject knowledge but also shaped my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accessibly. I have taught a wide range of students—from those preparing for 11+ and GCSEs to A-level learners in maths and sciences.

I’ve delivered lessons online, in-person, and at tuition centres, and I’m trained in both SEN and safeguarding. I’m deeply committed to creating a supportive and adaptive learning environment where every student feels understood and encouraged. Whether a student thrives with structure or needs a more creative approach, I adapt my teaching to help them succeed.

What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students grow in both confidence and ability. I believe in fostering independent thinking and encouraging curiosity. I love watching students develop resilience, ask deeper questions, and become active participants in their learning journey. My sessions are interactive and relaxed, built on mutual respect and trust.

I understand how crucial mental and physical well-being are to academic performance, and I strive to be not only a tutor, but a mentor. Above all, I aim to help students feel seen, supported, and capable of reaching their full potential.
